Crafted in partnership with Projecthrive, this garment was handmade by female artisans in Uttar Pradesh, India. Through this collaboration, we were able to provide meaningful employment for 10 women working from home observing purdah — a cultural practice that limits their access to traditional employment.

Composed of individually hand-crocheted suns in colours drawn from our Surya Tile palette, each motif is stitched together in an organic arrangement.

100% Cotton Yarn 
Hand wash only in cold water
Use mild detergent
Do not bleach
Lay flat to dry – avoid hanging to prevent stretching
Do not tumble dry
Store folded to maintain shape

Please note: Due to the handmade nature of this piece, each garment is unique and may feature subtle variations. Crochet will naturally soften with wear, so we recommend reading the care instructions thoughtfully — and wearing it with the same intention that went into making it.
